Sopportare Rumore documents two moments of the vieni fortuna collective in Rome: a jam session repurposing an artist’s studio with spoken word and sound-making, and a group discussion on listening and community-building with the collective. The video is part of a broader inquiry into how certain environments affect bonds, the role of sound and poetry in these dynamics, and how to understand something while still immersed in its formation.

From vieni fortuna:
Is it possible to make a sound on the ruins of a temple? It is.
vieni fortuna is the fantasy of a night, a wrinkle in time, the disarray of an encounter, a recording studio and living room, an extemporaneous fragment where to tune into new rhythms, distort sounds, curve tongues and clash bodies.
Drawn out of a dialogue between curator Ginevra Ludovici, artist Chiara Pagano, and composer Grosso Bernardo, the project starts in 2024 to explore the relationship between audio and text during meetings dedicated to experimentation.
